New Generation Roof-Mounted Fan and Ventilation Hood

 

The new generation of roof-mounted fans and ventilation hoods from Rittal is an efficient climate control solution specifically engineered for industrial and IT enclosures. When thermal loads are high but side panel space is restricted, or when you need to leverage the chimney effect (natural bottom-to-top convection), roof-mounted cooling is the ideal choice.This generation brings major upgrades in installation flexibility, airflow efficiency, and intelligent control.

Rittal SK 3138.000 is a new-generation, engineering-optimized roof vent cover designed for passive enclosure ventilation or localized multi-fan assembly. Serving as the direct, highly efficient replacement for the legacy SK 3148.007, this roof-mounted unit comes without a fan motor, facilitating natural convection air exit with minimal pressure loss. Featuring an innovative clamping attachment and a modular footprint, it supports a high protection category up to IP54/NEMA 12 when paired with its included pleated filter, safeguarding sensitive switchgear internal environments against dust and splashes
