Rittal SK 3118.000 Hygrostat
Rittal SK 3118.000 Enclosure Hygrostat is an instrument for controlling the relative humidity in closed enclosures. If the set relative humidity is exceeded the hygrostat turns on the enclosure heaters and/or cooling fans automatically. This action effectively removes moisture from the air, heats the air above the dew point and stops harmful condensation from occurring on sensitive electronic components and assemblies.
The SK 3118.000 is provided with a single pole change-over contact that acts as a quick-release switch and is used to switch between the setting range of 50%RH to 100%RH with a switching difference of about 4%. The easy-to-use design features a terminal strip with external screw connectors for convenient wiring and offers flexible mounting on 35 mm DIN rail or attached directly to enclosure profiles.

Rittal SK 3118000 Hygrostat Benefits :
a. Time-saving connection technique using a terminal strip with a screw connection from the outside.
b. Flexible mounting on a vertical or horizontal 35 mm support rail to EN 50 022, snap fastening in the enclosure section or on the mounting plate using the supplied adapter.
Installation and operating suggestions
Placement: Mount the humidity sensor in the top/middle portion of the enclosure. Place away from heaters or other heat-producing items to ensure that the relative humidity measured in the cabinet is representative of the cabinet's internal environment.
Recommended Use: Usually used in combination with the Rittal cabinet heaters (e.g., SK 3105).Even automatic humidity control and dew-point prevention are available by using a humidity control device (XXX series) in a control loop.
