Rittal NH Fuse-Switch Disconnectors
The Rittal NH Fuse-Switch Disconnectors are integral elements in low-voltage distribution and busbar systems, acting to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power distribution. In contrast to conventional stand-alone switches, the Rittal NH Fuse-Switch Disconnectors can be easily connected with RiLine and the next generation RiLineX busbar systems, providing a more flexible and efficient solution for the current industrial power distribution.
The modular design of the busbar system allows for easy mounting of the NH Fuse-Switch Disconnectors on the busbar, eliminating the need for intricate wiring and saving space within control cabinets. When used in conjunction with high breaking capacity NH fuses, they offer complete short circuit and overload protection for cables, equipment, and distribution circuits with the added feature of being able to isolate and switch loads safely.

Rittal NH disconnectors are primarily categorized by how they mount inside a cabinet. While traditional mounting-plate variants exist, Rittal’s core engineering focus is on drill-free busbar mounting
RiLine60 System (Classic Standard): These disconnectors clip directly onto a 3-pole flat copper busbar setup with a 60 mm center-to-center spacing. This eliminates the need to drill copper bars, cut threads, or manipulate heavy bolts.
RiLineX System (The New Generation): Rittal's latest evolutionary leap. The RiLineX system features enhanced, tool-free installation, semi-automatic adjustment to different busbar thicknesses, and built-in, comprehensive contact hazard protection (IP 2XB) directly out of the box.

While choosing or replacing a Rittal NH switch disconnector, please always check the following parameters:
Select the right NH size for the desired amount of current:
NH000: up to 100 A
NH00: up to 160 A
NH1: up to 250 A
NH2: up to 400 A
NH3: up to 630 A / 1250 A
Depending on your system design, you'll need to figure out how you'll install it.
·Busbar mounted installation: Check the spacing between the busbars (60 mm or 185 mm).
·Using mounting plate: If no busbars are installed, use a RX variant that can be installed directly on the mounting plate.
Choose the right type of terminal for the cable and wiring:
Flexible and larger size cable connections with box terminals.
Standard bolted terminals with conventional cable lugs (M8, M10 or M12).
By ensuring that these specifications are carefully verified, it can be ensured to be compatible for safe operation and optimal performance in the electrical distribution system.

3.Q: Can the old SV 9343 still be used if I switch to the new-generation RiLineX system?
It cannot be directly integrated. The brand-new RiLineX series from Rittal features a completely new “plug & play” busbar system. The older SV 9343.xxx belongs to the classic RiLine platform. If you upgrade to the RiLineX system, you will need to use the new-generation RX 9362.xxx or RX 9363.xxx series products.
