The Rittal SK 3144000 is a 2U tangential fan for installation in the 482.6 mm (19-inch) mounting level. It produces a broad airflow band for enclosure ventilation. Check the cabinet layout, heat load and air path before selection.
SK 3144.000 engineered for high static pressure resistance and optimized noise characteristics, it is the ideal cooling solution for densely packed IT network enclosures and server cabinets where quiet operation and maximum airflow efficiency are required.

Cooling selection: Published airflow and maximum static pressure are separate reference values, not a guaranteed combined operating point. Check heat load, ambient temperature, permitted cabinet temperature, filter condition and inlet/outlet restrictions.
Noise: Published levels are 52 dB(A) at 50 Hz and 62 dB(A) at 60 Hz. Consider the supply frequency and installation conditions when assessing suitability for noise-sensitive areas.
Installation: The manufacturer’s specification table and drawing list 482.6 × 88 × 163 mm (W × H × D). A short product description also states 158 mm; verify mounting space, cable clearance and the supplied unit against the manufacturer’s technical drawing before installation.
Replacement Filters and Optional Accessories
To clean and maintain your fan, we highly recommend purchasing the Rittal SK 3177.000 filter mat. For automated climate control, pair it with the SK 3110.000 thermostat.
A filter mat is included with the fan. Select replacement filters, temperature controls and outlet components according to the installation requirements.
SK 3177000 Replacement filter mat: Fits SK 3144000 and SK 3145000 tangential fans. Supplied in packs of five. Replace according to contamination.
SK 3114200 Temperature display and thermostat: For enclosure door or wall installation, with temperature indication and relay switching. Confirm the wiring and load ratings.
SK 3110000 Enclosure thermostat: Provides temperature-dependent on/off switching. Check contact ratings and the fan connection arrangement.
SK 3120200 Speed control: Provides temperature-dependent speed adjustment and includes an NTC sensor. For compatible single-phase AC equipment; not suitable for EC motors.
SK 3176000 Front outlet grille: Provides an upper-front air outlet when the tangential fan is installed in the lower section of the enclosure.
SK 3138000 Roof vent: A related roof ventilation option. Check the roof cut-out and intended airflow arrangement before selection.
FAQ
A: It may help where airflow is insufficient. Check the heat load, ambient temperature and air path first; adding a fan alone may not solve the problem.
A: Only if it improves airflow through the equipment. Check for blocked outlets, airflow bypass and conflicting fan directions.
A: Heated air needs a clear exit. Consider SK 3176000 when the fan is installed below and air should leave through the upper front.
A: A thermostat switches the fan on and off. A compatible speed controller varies airflow with temperature. Choose according to your control needs.
A: Check dust exposure and filter access. Filters require maintenance and do not make the cabinet dust-tight.
A: Send the old model number and installation photos. Mounting, clearance, wiring and airflow direction must match the intended arrangement.
