Rittal Blue e+ filter fans ventilate electrical enclosures with filtered ambient air. For a new installation or replacement, check the supply voltage, required airflow, mounting cut-out and matching outlet filter. SUWI provides model selection support and quotations based on your article number or cabinet cooling requirements.

Check the matching Blue e+ outlet filter together with the fan. Confirm the airflow of the complete fan-and-filter arrangement before final selection.

  Confirm the fan design, filter media and airflow data for the selected article number.
• 2. Installation and maintenance
  Check the mounting cut-out, panel thickness and internal clearance. Leave access for opening the grille and replacing the filter.
• 3. Airflow selection
  Select by article number and the airflow available with the required filter arrangement, not by the maximum output of the full range.
• 4. Colour options
  RAL 7035 and RAL 9005 models are listed above. Confirm the complete article number when ordering.
• 5. Protection rating
  Verify the selected model and complete installation. Higher protection ratings depend on the specified filter media and accessories; they are not standard on every configuration.

EC functions: IoT monitoring, automatic filter cleaning and emergency cooling apply to the relevant EC versions and interface configuration. These functions should not be assumed for the AC/DC models listed above.

Check the filter on your electrical control panel cooling fan for dust build-up and make sure both grilles are clear.

Inspect it more often if dust collects quickly. When replacing the filter, use the fan’s article number to check the correct filter type, size and protection rating.

 

If the cabinet starts running hotter, check the filter and airflow path first. Has the surrounding air become warmer? Has more equipment been added inside the cabinet? Check what has changed before choosing a larger fan or another cooling method.

1. How do I choose the voltage and airflow?

Match the fan to the available supply voltage and frequency, or select a suitable DC model. Size the ventilation using the cabinet heat load, ambient temperature, target internal temperature and airflow with the intended outlet filter. Send these inputs to SUWI if the model is not yet selected.

2. Can I replace an existing fan using the same cut-out?

Check the existing fan article number, cut-out width and height, panel thickness and internal clearance. A similar front grille does not confirm compatibility. Send the old model number and installation dimensions for review.

3. Which outlet filter and replacement filter mat do I need?

Match them to the fan article number and required protection rating. Pleated and chopped-fibre media have different airflow characteristics. Confirm the complete arrangement using the Blue e+ outlet filter range and model documentation.

4. What information is needed for a quotation?

Send the complete article number, quantity, supply voltage and delivery destination. For replacement orders, include the existing model and mounting details. SUWI will confirm price, availability and delivery time for the requested configuration.
