The VX Hybrid Double Door is a robust yet lightweight enclosure solution, perfect for applications where simple, quick deployment, portability, and safety are critical. The removable mullion allows for a single mounting panel and ample space for installing and removal of the panel. With our superior dip-paint primer and powder coat paint, these enclosures will meet the conditions of many environments and applications. High level of protection to IP 66/Type 4.

The Rittal VX Hybrid double door carbon steel enclosure houses electrical control equipment for machinery and automation systems. The removable center mullion provides access for installing and removing the mounting panel.

Confirm the supply list for the selected article number. Electrical components, cooling equipment and additional accessories should be specified separately in the quotation.
Mounting space: compare the equipment layout with the mounting panel dimensions. Include terminal blocks, cable ducts and space for later additions.
Usable depth: check component depth together with connectors, cable bends and door-mounted equipment. External cabinet depth is not the available installation depth.
Access: allow room for the doors to open and for equipment to be removed at the installation location.
Cooling: establish the equipment heat load and ambient conditions before selecting cabinet climate control .
Accessories: check the enclosure model, installation position and any required adapters. VX25 accessory compatibility does not remove the need to check each part.
Cutouts: confirm opening sizes and positions against the internal layout before releasing drawings for machining.

A: The manufacturer's supply list includes the mounting panel, doors, roof, side panels, rear panels and solid base. Check the selected article number and quotation for the final scope. Specify electrical components, cooling equipment and additional accessories separately.
A: Check the external dimensions for site access, then the mounting panel dimensions and usable depth for the equipment layout. Include connector clearance, cable bends, door-mounted parts and the space needed to remove equipment during maintenance.
A: Send the enclosure article number, accessory numbers and installation drawing. Each part needs to be checked for its mounting interface and size. Cutouts, cable glands and cooling equipment also need to be reviewed against the required IP or NEMA rating; the standard enclosure rating should not be assumed to cover every modified configuration.
