Rittal CP cover plates close unused support arm connections on operator panel housings. They are useful when a housing has an additional connection opening that is not required for the selected mounting arrangement.
Select the cover plate by the housing's support arm interface and mounting details. Each model includes a seal and assembly components.

Selecting the Right Cover Plate
Identify the housing article number, then match its unused support arm connection to the appropriate model:
These dimensions describe the suitable connection, not the external dimensions of the cover plate. Check the fixing arrangement against the housing drawing before ordering.
A: Check the housing's scope of supply first. Rittal states that Comfort Panel, Optipanel and Compact Panel housings supplied with two support arm cut-outs already include one cover plate. Order an additional plate only if it is required for your configuration or as a replacement.
A: Compatibility needs to be checked against the drawing. Provide the opening dimensions, fixing-hole positions and panel details; matching the nominal connection size alone is insufficient to confirm the fit.
A: The plate is intended to close an unused support arm connection. If cables need to pass through that position, select a suitable cable-entry accessory for the housing and cable arrangement.
