Rittal closed IP55 roof plates for VX and VX IT are used on enclosures supplied without a roof plate or as replacements for the standard roof.
Select the roof plate by the enclosure article number, width and depth. Before replacing an existing roof, check whether the installation requires cable entry, ventilation or roof-mounted equipment.
The dimensions below identify the enclosure size each roof plate is suitable for. They are not roof plate manufacturing dimensions.

Confirm the enclosure article number and external width and depth. For a replacement, provide a photograph of the existing roof and its fixing arrangement, especially if the cabinet has been modified.
If the roof needs openings for cables, fans or cooling equipment, confirm the cut-outs, mounting arrangement and sealing requirements before machining. Do not assume that the original protection rating remains valid after modifications.
