The outlet filter is used in conjunction with the corresponding fan-and-filter unit to dissipate heat loss from enclosures, ventilate the enclosure and protect temperature-sensitive components. This is achieved through the direct infeed of ambient air, the temperature of which must be lower than the permissible internal temperature of the enclosure.

The Rittal SK 3243308 is the RAL 9005 black Blue e+ outlet filter for SK 3243.7xx, 3243.9xx, 3244.7xx, 3244.9xx and 3245.9xx fan-and-filter units. It provides the filtered outlet of an enclosure ventilation system. A matching powered fan supplies cooler ambient air, while warm air exits through the grille to help dissipate heat from the equipment inside.

Choose SK 3243308 when a compatible Blue e+ SK 3243, SK 3244 or SK 3245 fan requires a RAL 9005 black outlet grille. Its 323 × 323 mm face covers a 292 × 292 mm mounting cut-out. Confirm the panel opening and external grille clearance, particularly when replacing an outlet from an older fan family.
The supplied pleated filter sits behind an opening louvred grille so maintenance staff can reach it for inspection and replacement. Optimized snap hooks allow tool-free installation in a correctly prepared panel. The black finish may also match dark enclosure or machine designs.
With the pleated filter, Rittal lists IP54 and NEMA Type 12. The specified IP55 configuration adds an absorber mat; IP56 and NEMA Type 3/3R/4/4X require a filter and compatible hose-proof hood. Confirm the completed arrangement and size the powered fan for the enclosure's heat load.
