The outlet filter is used in conjunction with the corresponding fan-and-filter unit to dissipate heat loss from enclosures, ventilate the enclosure and protect temperature-sensitive components. This is achieved through the direct infeed of ambient air, the temperature of which must be lower than the permissible internal temperature of the enclosure.

The Rittal SK 3243300 is a RAL 7035 light-grey Blue e+ outlet filter for SK 3243.7xx, 3243.9xx, 3244.7xx, 3244.9xx and 3245.9xx fan-and-filter units. Installed in an enclosure wall, it provides a filtered exit for warm internal air while a matching powered fan brings in cooler ambient air. This ventilation path helps release heat from electrical components housed inside.

Use SK 3243300 for a RAL 7035 light-grey outlet paired with a compatible Blue e+ SK 3243, SK 3244 or SK 3245 fan-and-filter unit from the ranges listed above. Its 323 × 323 mm outer face and 292 × 292 mm panel opening make it important to check the enclosure drawing and available mounting area.
The opening louvred grille gives access to the supplied pleated filter for regular inspection and replacement. Optimized snap hooks support tool-free fitting to the prepared cut-out. Check the filter more often where airborne dust could obstruct the ventilation path.
The pleated-filter arrangement is specified at IP54 and NEMA Type 12. Rittal lists IP55 with an additional absorber mat, and IP56 or NEMA Type 3/3R/4/4X with a suitable hose-proof hood and filter. Confirm the full assembly and the powered fan's capacity for the enclosure heat load.
