Before Ordering AX 1008000

1. Check whether the layout benefits from additional height

AX 1008000 provides a 330 × 575 mm mounting plate. The additional height is most useful when components can be organised vertically. If the layout requires several large components side by side, a wider AX configuration may provide a more practical mounting area.

2. Plan DIN rails and terminal sections vertically

The 575 mm mounting-plate height provides more room for multiple horizontal DIN-rail or terminal levels. Plan the spacing between these sections together with wiring ducts and service clearances rather than using the additional height only to increase component density.

3. Check installation access at the top and bottom

A 600 mm-high enclosure requires sufficient installation and service space around the enclosure. Consider cable entry, conductor routing and access to components positioned near the upper and lower ends of the mounting plate when determining the installation height.

4. Do not use additional height to solve a depth problem

AX 1008000 remains 210 mm deep. Deep components, connectors, wiring ducts and door-mounted equipment therefore require the same depth and clearance checks as other 210 mm-deep AX configurations.

5. Recheck height-dependent accessories

Accessories carried over from 380 mm or 500 mm-high AX models should not automatically be assumed compatible. Rails, chassis and other dimension-dependent components must be checked against the 380 mm width, 600 mm height and 210 mm depth of AX 1008000.
