AX Stainless Steel Model Comparison

AX 1011000 is a useful intermediate size when the 250 mm mounting width of AX 1003000 begins to crowd side-by-side components, but additional enclosure height is unnecessary. Its 330 × 275 mm mounting plate provides 80 mm more mounting width while retaining the same 275 mm plate height. If components already fit cleanly within 250 mm of mounting width, AX 1003000 keeps the enclosure footprint smaller. If the 330 mm width is appropriate but terminals, wiring ducts or additional component rows begin competing for the available 275 mm height, AX 1006000 provides the same mounting width with more vertical working area.

Before Ordering AX 1011000

1. Check whether width is actually the constraint

The 330 × 275 mm mounting plate provides more horizontal room than a 300 mm-wide enclosure, but no additional mounting height. Check whether the current layout problem comes from side-by-side component placement rather than vertical spacing before selecting AX 1011000.

2. Use the extra width to avoid compressed side-by-side installation

The additional mounting width can be useful where adjacent devices, terminal groups or wiring ducts would otherwise be positioned too closely. Use the wider plate to preserve practical spacing rather than simply adding more components.

3. Check the limited 275 mm mounting height early

The enclosure remains only 300 mm high, with a 275 mm-high mounting plate. DIN rails, terminals and horizontal wiring ducts can quickly consume this height. If several vertically stacked component levels are required, a taller AX configuration may be more practical.

4. Consider the installation location around the enclosure

The low-height format can be useful where machinery, pipework or other equipment limits the available vertical installation envelope. Confirm that increasing the enclosure width from 300 to 380 mm does not interfere with adjacent equipment or required service access.

5. Keep the 210 mm depth constraint separate

AX 1011000 remains 210 mm deep. Increasing the width does not create additional room for deep devices, connectors or cable bends projecting toward the door. Check installed component depth independently.
