Rittal AE 1031500 is a 380 × 300 × 210 mm sheet steel enclosure supplied with a hinged door, zinc-plated mounting plate and bottom gland plate. It provides a housing for electrical control components; DIN rails, cable glands and assembled electrical equipment must be specified separately.

Use the 334 × 275 mm mounting plate to check the equipment layout. Allow space for terminals, wiring ducts and cable bends. The 210 mm external depth is not the usable component depth; check the tallest component and any door-mounted device against the enclosure drawing.
The supplied bottom gland plate provides a separate area for cable entry. Confirm gland sizes, hole spacing, cable bend radius and sealing before machining. Deburr openings, remove metal swarf and protect exposed steel edges. Select glands and blanking plugs suitable for the required protection level.
