The Rittal AX 1033000 is a square-format carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for compact control points where both the available wall area and equipment layout must stay within a 300 mm width and height. Its 300 × 300 × 210 mm body combines a small front footprint with useful depth for control devices, terminals and cable routing, while IP66 and IK10 protection support demanding industrial locations.

When the 300 × 300 mm Format Makes Sense
AX 1033000 suits control points that need a balanced square layout rather than a wide or tall mounting surface. The 250 × 275 mm mounting panel is practical for a compact controller, terminals and protection devices arranged in short rows, while the 210 mm enclosure depth leaves more room for device bodies and cable bends than a shallow terminal box.
Before ordering, lay out the components on the 250 × 275 mm usable mounting panel and reserve space for wire ducts, terminal access and bend radius. Choose AX 1031000 when the same 300 mm height and 210 mm depth are suitable but an extra 80 mm of enclosure width is required. Choose AX 1034000 when the layout needs more vertical space while retaining a 300 mm width and 210 mm depth.

AX 1033000 provides a 300 × 300 × 210 mm enclosure with a 250 × 275 mm mounting panel. Move to a wider AX model when horizontal component rows are the constraint, or to a taller model when additional DIN-rail levels are required. Keep the 210 mm depth only when device projection, wiring bends and door clearance have been checked.
