The Rittal AX 1034000 is a vertically proportioned carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control layouts that need more mounting height without using additional wall width. Its 300 × 400 × 210 mm body supports stacked device rows and organized separation between control, protection and terminal sections, while IP66 and IK10 protection suit demanding industrial locations.

When a Narrower, Taller Layout Is Better
AX 1034000 is useful when the wall position limits enclosure width but the component schedule needs more vertical separation. Its 250 × 375 mm mounting panel can support stacked DIN-rail rows, with terminals placed below control and protection devices so wiring can follow a clearer top-to-bottom path. The 210 mm depth must still be checked against device projection, duct depth and door clearance.
Choose AX 1033000 when the same 300 mm width and 210 mm depth are suitable but the extra 100 mm of height is unnecessary. Choose AX 1031000 when horizontal component rows matter more than vertical stacking: it adds 80 mm of width but uses a 300 mm height. Before machining the door or gland plate, confirm component cut-outs, cable bend radius and the clear space required around the door seal.
The standard delivery already provides the enclosure parts listed below. Check them against the project bill of materials before adding separate installation items:
The included mounting panel measures 250 × 375 mm, and the enclosure base accepts one size 1 gland plate. Order replacements or alternative cable-entry parts only when the planned installation requires them.
For this model, match interior rails to the 210 mm enclosure depth and cable-entry parts to its size 1 base opening. The taller mounting area may also require the rail positions and wiring route to be planned before accessories are ordered.
