The Rittal AX 1037000 is a tall, deep carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control systems that need several vertical installation zones within a single-door housing. Its 400 × 800 × 300 mm format provides substantial mounting height and additional internal depth for larger device bodies, wiring ducts and service clearances, while IP66 and IK10 protection support demanding industrial locations.

When 800 mm Height and 300 mm Depth Matter
AX 1037000 provides a 345 × 775 mm mounting panel inside a relatively narrow 400 mm enclosure width. This favors several vertically stacked control zones rather than long horizontal rows. The 300 mm enclosure depth is relevant when device bodies, wiring ducts or connector bends would be crowded in a 210 mm-deep housing.
Choose AX 1038000 when a smaller 380 × 600 mm front area and 210 mm depth are sufficient. Choose AX 1055000 when the design needs a much wider side-by-side layout and a 600 mm enclosure height is acceptable while retaining 300 mm depth. Before machining AX 1037000, check the 345 mm usable mounting width, both door-lock positions, component projection and clearance from the door seal.

The standard configuration includes a 345 × 775 mm mounting panel and one size 5 gland plate in the enclosure base. Select an alternative gland plate only after the number, diameter and connector size of incoming cables are known.
For AX 1037000, depth-specific interior rails must match 300 mm, while cable-entry parts must match the size 5 opening. Choose between a diaphragm plate and a split clamping-profile plate according to cable count, diameter and whether pre-terminated connectors must pass through the base.
