The Rittal AX 1038000 is a medium-height carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control assemblies that need multiple vertical device rows without the projection of a 300 mm-deep housing. Its 380 × 600 × 210 mm proportions balance usable installation height with a relatively shallow wall profile, while IP66, NEMA 4 and IK10 ratings support demanding indoor and outdoor industrial locations.

A 600 mm-High Enclosure with Less Wall Projection
AX 1038000 provides a 330 × 575 mm mounting panel inside a 380 mm-wide enclosure. The available height suits several vertically arranged DIN-rail or device zones, while the 210 mm enclosure depth helps preserve aisle clearance and reduces projection from the mounting surface.
Choose AX 1031000 when the same 380 mm width and 210 mm depth are required but a 300 mm enclosure height is enough. Move to AX 1037000 when the layout needs 800 mm height and 300 mm depth for larger components or more cable-bend clearance. Before machining AX 1038000, verify the 330 mm usable mounting width, both lock positions, door-mounted component projection and clearance around the foamed seal.

The standard configuration includes a 330 × 575 mm mounting panel and one size 2 gland plate in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions before selecting an alternative entry plate.
For AX 1038000, depth-specific interior rails must match 210 mm and replacement cable-entry parts must match the size 2 base opening. Confirm accessory article numbers against the final enclosure configuration before ordering.
