The Rittal AX 1039000 is a wide-format carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control assemblies arranged across one or two horizontal equipment rows. Its 600 × 380 × 210 mm body provides more side-by-side mounting width without requiring a tall wall position, while the shallow profile, IP66 protection and IK10 impact resistance suit space-conscious industrial installations.

When Horizontal Mounting Width Matters More Than Height
AX 1039000 provides a 550 × 355 mm mounting panel, making it better suited to side-by-side devices, longer terminal rows or a continuous horizontal wire duct than a narrow portrait enclosure. Its 380 mm external height can also simplify placement beneath machine frames, cable trays or other overhead restrictions.
Choose AX 1038000 when the same 210 mm depth is suitable but the layout needs 600 mm of enclosure height rather than width. Move to AX 1037000 when deeper components and greater vertical capacity justify a 400 × 800 × 300 mm housing. Before machining AX 1039000, verify the 550 mm mounting width, the central lock area, cable bend radius at the size 4 base opening and clearance behind door-mounted controls.

The standard configuration includes a 550 × 355 mm mounting panel and one size 4 gland plate in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions before selecting an alternative entry plate.
For AX 1039000, select the 210 mm interior rail and cable-entry components made for its wide size 4 base opening. The wider gland plate supports denser cable routing, but the final entry arrangement should still follow the cable schedule and required connector clearances.
