The Rittal AX 1054000 is a large square-format carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control systems that need substantial mounting area in both directions. Its 600 × 600 × 250 mm body provides more depth for device projection, wiring ducts and service clearance than 210 mm AX housings, while IP66 sealing and IK10 impact resistance support demanding industrial locations.

When a Larger Square Panel Needs More Than 210 mm Depth
AX 1054000 provides a 550 × 575 mm mounting panel for several horizontal device rows, side-by-side functional groups or a divided power-and-control layout. The 250 mm enclosure depth adds 40 mm over shallower AX models, giving more room for projecting components, duct covers and cable bends while retaining a wall-mounted format.
Choose AX 1050000 when a 500 × 500 mm front area and 210 mm depth can accommodate the complete assembly. Choose AX 1037000 when the design needs greater vertical capacity and 300 mm depth rather than a broad square panel. Before machining AX 1054000, verify the 550 mm usable width, both lock positions, cable routing through the size 4 base opening and clearance between deep devices and door-mounted controls.

The standard configuration includes a 550 × 575 mm mounting panel and one size 4 gland plate in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions before selecting an alternative entry plate.
AX 1054000 requires interior rails made for 250 mm enclosure depth and replacement entry plates matching gland-plate size 4. Plan the wide cable-entry area around incoming cable groups, connector diameters and any required separation between power and control wiring.
