The Rittal AX 1055000 is a wide, deep carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control systems that need long horizontal equipment rows within a single-door housing. Its 800 × 600 × 300 mm format provides substantial side-by-side mounting space and depth for larger device bodies, wiring ducts and connector bends, while IP66 and IK10 protection support demanding industrial locations.

When 750 mm of Usable Mounting Width Is the Main Requirement
AX 1055000 provides a 750 × 575 mm mounting panel for long DIN-rail rows, wide terminal fields or side-by-side power and control sections. The 300 mm enclosure depth gives additional clearance for deeper components, larger wiring ducts and front-facing connectors that would be crowded in 210 or 250 mm-deep housings.
Choose AX 1054000 when a 600 × 600 mm front area and 250 mm depth are sufficient. Choose AX 1037000 when the project needs 800 mm height rather than 800 mm width while retaining 300 mm depth. Before machining AX 1055000, verify the 750 mm usable width, both lock positions, door-component clearance and how incoming cables will be divided between the two size 5 base openings.

The standard configuration includes a 750 × 575 mm mounting panel and two size 5 gland plates in the enclosure base. Plan both entry positions together so power, control and communication cables can be separated where the installation requires it.
AX 1055000 uses 300 mm interior rails and has two size 5 cable-entry openings. Choose diaphragm plates for direct cable penetration or two-piece clamping-profile plates when pre-terminated connectors must pass through; replacing both standard openings requires two matching plates.
