The Rittal AX 1057000 is a tall, medium-width carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control systems arranged in several vertical functional zones. Its 500 × 700 × 250 mm body provides substantial mounting height without the wall width or projection of larger AX housings, while IP66 sealing and IK10 impact resistance support demanding industrial locations.

When 675 mm of Mounting Height Must Fit Within 500 mm Width
AX 1057000 provides a 450 × 675 mm mounting panel for vertically stacked DIN-rail rows, separated control and terminal zones, or a tall wiring path beside the devices. Its 250 mm depth offers more working clearance than 210 mm AX models without increasing the cabinet projection to 300 mm.
Choose AX 1054000 when a wider 550 × 575 mm panel suits side-by-side equipment better at the same depth. Choose AX 1037000 when the design needs 800 mm overall height and 300 mm depth, accepting its narrower 345 mm mounting-panel width. Before machining AX 1057000, verify the 450 mm usable width, both lock positions, top and bottom duct allowances, cable bend radius at the size 3 base entry and clearance for door-mounted controls.

The standard configuration includes a 450 × 675 mm mounting panel and one size 3 gland plate in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions before selecting an alternative entry plate.
AX 1057000 uses interior rails specified for 250 mm enclosure depth and replacement entry plates matching gland-plate size 3. In a tall assembly, reserve an uninterrupted vertical wiring route and confirm heat-producing components have the spacing required by their manufacturers.
