The Rittal AX 1060000 is a square-format carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control systems that need broad mounting space with limited cabinet projection. Its 600 × 600 × 210 mm body provides a 550 × 575 mm mounting area in a comparatively shallow housing, while IP66 sealing and IK10 impact resistance support demanding industrial locations.

When Broad Panel Space Must Stay Close to the Wall
AX 1060000 provides a 550 × 575 mm mounting panel for side-by-side device groups, several compact equipment rows or a divided control-and-terminal layout. The square front preserves usable width, while the 210 mm depth limits wall projection where the installed components and wiring do not require a deeper housing.
Choose AX 1054000 when the same 600 × 600 mm front and mounting-panel size are required but the assembly needs 250 mm enclosure depth. Choose AX 1050000 when 210 mm depth is suitable and a smaller front area can hold the complete layout. Before machining AX 1060000, confirm the deepest device together with terminals and cable bends, both lock positions, the size 4 base-entry zone and clearance behind door-mounted controls.

The standard configuration includes a 550 × 575 mm mounting panel and one size 4 gland plate in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions before selecting an alternative entry plate.
AX 1060000 uses interior rails specified for 210 mm enclosure depth and replacement entry plates matching gland-plate size 4. Confirm rail depth independently from the 600 × 600 mm front dimensions, and plan the base entry around cable quantity, connector size and bend radius.
