The Rittal AX 1090000 is an extra-tall single-door carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control systems that need extensive vertical mounting capacity within a 600 mm cabinet width. Its 600 × 1,000 × 250 mm body provides a 545 × 975 mm mounting area for stacked functional sections while maintaining a moderate front-to-back profile, with IP66 sealing and IK10 impact resistance for demanding industrial locations.

When 975 mm of Panel Height Is Required Without More Width
AX 1090000 provides a 545 × 975 mm mounting panel for assemblies with many vertically stacked equipment rows, extended terminal sections or long vertical cable routes. Its 600 mm width keeps horizontal span controlled, while the 250 mm depth provides more working clearance than the 210 mm-deep AX models without moving to a wider enclosure.
Choose AX 1058000 when 775 mm of mounting-panel height is sufficient and the same width and depth are required in a shorter cabinet. Choose AX 1076000 when a 550 × 735 mm panel and 210 mm enclosure depth can support the design with less wall projection. Before machining AX 1090000, confirm the complete vertical row schedule, top and bottom wiring-duct allowances, deepest device and terminals, both lock positions, size 4 cable-entry zone and door cut-outs.

The standard configuration includes a 545 × 975 mm mounting panel and one size 4 gland plate in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions before selecting an alternative entry plate.
AX 1090000 uses interior rails specified for 250 mm enclosure depth and replacement entry plates matching gland-plate size 4. Because cable runs may span nearly the full panel height, plan a continuous vertical wiring route from the base entry to the upper equipment rows and reserve sufficient service slack.
