The Rittal AX 1100000 is a wide, tall and shallow double-door carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control layouts that need a large mounting surface without a deep cabinet projection. Its 1,000 × 760 × 210 mm body provides a 945 × 735 mm mounting area for long equipment rows and vertical zoning, while IP55, NEMA 1/12, UL Type 1/12 and IK10 ratings support protected industrial installations.

When a Large Panel Must Fit a 210 mm Wall Projection
AX 1100000 combines a 945 × 735 mm mounting panel with a shallow 210 mm enclosure depth. This proportion supports wide, multi-row layouts where wall area is available but aisle clearance or machine-side projection must remain controlled. The shallow depth makes the installed projection of components, terminals and wiring the critical selection check.
Choose AX 1077000 when the same 735 mm panel height is needed but 705 mm of panel width is sufficient. Choose AX 1096000 when approximately the same horizontal span is required with 300 mm depth, accepting a shorter 575 mm panel height. Before machining AX 1100000, calculate the complete panel-to-door depth stack, allocate door cut-outs by leaf, protect the central meeting and lock zones, and divide incoming cables between the two size 3 base entries.

The standard configuration includes a 945 × 735 mm mounting panel and two size 3 gland plates in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions for each entry zone before selecting alternative plates.
AX 1100000 uses interior rails specified for 210 mm enclosure depth and replacement entry plates matching gland-plate size 3. Plan the two base-entry zones around the left and right equipment sections, then confirm the required replacement quantity and connector clearance within the shallow cabinet.

Planning a shallow AX 1100000 assembly? Send the mounting-panel drawing, complete depth stack for the deepest component and terminals, wiring-duct dimensions, cable allocation for both size 3 base plates, and door cut-outs identified by leaf so the 210 mm depth can be checked before machining.
AX 1100000 provides a 1,000 × 760 × 210 mm double-door enclosure with a 945 × 735 mm mounting panel. Compare AX 1077000 when 705 mm of panel width is sufficient at the same panel height and depth, or AX 1096000 when 300 mm depth is needed and a 575 mm-high panel can hold the layout. Base the change on panel width, vertical row count, component projection and required wall clearance.
