The Rittal AX 1112000 is an extra-wide, low-height double-door carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for control layouts built around very long horizontal equipment rows. Its 1,200 × 400 × 300 mm body provides a 1,145 × 375 mm mounting area while limiting vertical wall use, with sufficient enclosure depth for projected components, terminals and cable bends. IP55 protection and IK10 impact resistance suit protected industrial locations.

When the Layout Requires More Than One Metre of Panel Width
AX 1112000 provides a 1,145 × 375 mm mounting panel for assemblies dominated by one or two very long horizontal equipment rows, extended terminal strips, or distributed controls that must remain on a single level. Its 400 mm enclosure height limits vertical wall use, while the 300 mm depth provides working clearance for projected components and cable bends.
Choose AX 1095000 when a 750 × 375 mm panel provides enough horizontal span at the same height and depth, reducing enclosure width by 400 mm. Choose AX 1096000 when a 950 × 575 mm panel is more useful because the design needs additional vertical rows. Before machining AX 1112000, verify the longest uninterrupted rail and wiring-duct runs, assign door cut-outs to the correct leaf, allow for the central door meeting line and locks, and divide incoming cables between the two size 7 base-entry zones.

The standard configuration includes a 1,145 × 375 mm mounting panel and two size 7 gland plates in the enclosure base. Define cable quantity, outside diameter and connector dimensions for each entry zone before selecting alternative plates.
AX 1112000 uses interior rails specified for 300 mm enclosure depth and replacement entry plates matching gland-plate size 7. Its two base plates span the extra-wide enclosure, so align each cable group beneath the corresponding horizontal panel zone and order replacements for one or both entry areas as required.
