The Rittal AX 1115000 is a deep, full-height double-door carbon steel wall-mounted enclosure for multi-row control systems whose devices, terminals and cable bends require more front-to-back clearance. Its 1,000 × 1,400 × 400 mm body combines a 945 × 1,375 mm mounting area with 400 mm enclosure depth, helping accommodate projected assemblies across a tall panel. IP55, NEMA 1/12, UL Type 1/12 and IK10 ratings support protected industrial installations.

When 400 mm Depth Is Required Across a Full-Height Panel
AX 1115000 retains the 945 × 1,375 mm mounting panel used by the 300 mm-deep version but extends the enclosure to 400 mm. This additional front-to-back space is relevant when the installed stack includes deep drives, projecting terminals, front connectors, large cable bends or door-mounted devices that would conflict in a shallower cabinet.
Choose AX 1114000 when the same 945 × 1,375 mm panel fits within 300 mm depth and reducing wall projection is more important. Choose AX 1100000 when the design also fits within a 945 × 735 mm panel and 210 mm depth. Before machining AX 1115000, calculate the complete panel-to-door stack, including terminals and cable bend radius; then verify populated weight, wall support, vertical cable routes, the three-point locking path and the selected door-hinge orientation.
Use this supply list to separate the included enclosure components from optional interior-installation and cable-entry parts:
Supply includes the tall double-door enclosure, 945 × 1,375 mm mounting panel, two size 6 gland plates, punched door strip and one three-point locking system with a 3 mm double-bit insert. The door catch is interchangeable. Confirm cable quantities, connector dimensions and the left/right entry allocation before changing either base plate.
AX 1115000 requires the interior rail specified for 400 mm enclosure depth; the 300 mm rail used with AX 1114000 is not the correct depth variant. Replacement cable-entry plates must match size 6. Assign the two base openings to separate vertical cable routes so conductors can reach deep upper and lower assemblies without crossing the central panel area.

AX 1115000 provides a 1,000 × 1,400 × 400 mm double-door enclosure with a 945 × 1,375 mm mounting panel. Move to AX 1114000 when the identical panel area fits within 300 mm depth, or to AX 1100000 when both panel height and cabinet depth can be reduced. Select by complete installed depth, cable bend radius, vertical row count, wall projection and populated mounting load.
