Rittal KX 1577000 E-Box, Carbon Steel
The Rittal KX 1577000 is a 300 × 400 × 155 mm carbon steel electrical E-Box designed for compact control and connection installations. The 300 mm enclosure width keeps the KX 1577000 relatively narrow, while the 400 mm height provides more vertical mounting space and the 155 mm depth gives additional internal clearance for wiring and installed equipment.
The KX 1577000 works well as a wall-mounted electrical enclosure for local machine controls, electrical junction points and compact industrial automation systems.

KX 1577000 keeps the 300 mm width and 155 mm depth of KX 1575000 but increases the enclosure height from 300 mm to 400 mm and the mounting plate height from 285 mm to 385 mm. The additional height allows equipment rows, wiring ducts or separate functional zones to be arranged vertically without increasing the enclosure's 300 mm external width.
Use the required layout direction to distinguish it from adjacent sizes. If a 275 × 285 mm mounting plate provides enough vertical space, KX 1575000 retains the same width and depth in a shorter housing. If 275 mm of mounting width is the constraint, KX 1576000 provides a 365 mm-wide mounting plate instead. KX 1578000 becomes relevant when the layout requires substantially more vertical mounting height than the 385 mm available here.

Set the enclosure orientation and cable-entry direction before locating openings. On the 300 × 400 mm housing, top or bottom entries must preserve the first and last wiring zones, while side openings must be checked against the 275 mm mounting width and the planned vertical equipment rows. Check door cut-outs against the lock and hinge positions shown in the current Rittal dimensional drawing. Show reference edges, center coordinates, dimensions and tolerances on the machining drawing.
For review, provide: KX 1577000, quantity, an approved drawing or CAD file, opening sizes and positions, tolerances and cable-entry direction. Confirm the final drawing before machining because the external 300 × 400 × 155 mm dimensions do not define usable internal clearance.
