Choosing Rails for an Existing Shelf

• Shelf depth: Measure the shelf itself and match it to the rail model.
• Installed load: Record the equipment weight and load distribution. Do not carry over the fixed-shelf rating to the pull-out arrangement.
• Mounting structure: Identify the cabinet, shelf and supporting components from their article numbers or installation drawings.
• Access and cables: Allow space in front of the cabinet for withdrawal and enough cable movement to avoid pulling on equipment connections.

A: No. For DK 7061000, it refers to the suitable component shelf depth. The cabinet must also accommodate the shelf and its mounting structure.

Q2: Will a fixed 100 kg shelf still carry 100 kg after conversion?

A: Not automatically. The selected rails, shelf and supporting components determine the permitted load after conversion.

Q3: Does the rail pack include a component shelf?

A: The listed packaging unit is two rails. Specify the component shelf separately if a new shelf is required.
