The outlet filter is used in conjunction with the corresponding fan-and-filter unit to dissipate heat loss from enclosures, ventilate the enclosure and protect temperature-sensitive components. This is achieved through the direct infeed of ambient air, the temperature of which must be lower than the permissible internal temperature of the enclosure.

The Rittal SK 3239300 is a RAL 7035 light-grey Blue e+ outlet filter designed for SK 3239.7xx fan-and-filter units. Fitted into an enclosure wall, it provides a filtered route for warm air to leave while the matching fan supplies cooler ambient air. This ventilation arrangement helps remove heat produced by electrical components inside the enclosure.

Select SK 3239300 when the specified powered fan belongs to the SK 3239.7xx Blue e+ family and a light-grey outlet is required. The 204 × 204 mm face covers a 177 × 177 mm opening; check both dimensions against the enclosure layout, especially when upgrading from a smaller outlet size.
The supplied pleated filter sits behind an opening louvred grille. Maintenance staff can open the grille to inspect the filter as site dust accumulates. Optimized snap hooks allow the outlet to be installed without tools in a correctly prepared cut-out.
The standard pleated-filter configuration is specified at IP54 and NEMA Type 12. Rittal lists IP55 with a pleated filter plus absorber mat, and IP56 or NEMA Type 3/3R/4/4X with the filter and a hose-proof hood. Confirm the complete enclosure assembly and size the powered fan for the heat load and permissible temperatures.
