The outlet filter is used in conjunction with the corresponding fan-and-filter unit to dissipate heat loss from enclosures, ventilate the enclosure and protect temperature-sensitive components. This is achieved through the direct infeed of ambient air, the temperature of which must be lower than the permissible internal temperature of the enclosure.

The Rittal SK 3239308 is the RAL 9005 black Blue e+ outlet filter for an enclosure using an SK 3239.7xx fan-and-filter unit. It serves as the filtered outlet for the ventilation path: the powered fan brings cooler ambient air into the enclosure, and heated air exits through the outlet. This circulation helps dissipate heat generated by installed electrical equipment.

Use SK 3239308 when a Blue e+ SK 3239.7xx fan needs a matching outlet in RAL 9005 black. Its 204 × 204 mm grille fits a 177 × 177 mm enclosure cut-out. Check the cut-out, available face area and grille colour when selecting a replacement.
The opening louvred grille provides access to the supplied pleated filter for inspection and replacement. In locations with airborne dust, regular checks help keep the air outlet clear. The optimized snap hooks support tool-free mounting in the prepared panel opening.
