VX 8808000 is a single-door VX25 bayed enclosure measuring 800 x 2000 x 800 mm. The sheet-steel enclosure includes a mounting plate, rear panel, roof plate and divided gland plates. Its 25 mm pitch pattern and two mounting levels support flexible installation of electrical components, control equipment and cable-management accessories.

The 800 mm depth provides additional installation and cable-routing space for larger internal assemblies. With separately ordered side panels, it can be installed as a standalone enclosure or bayed with other VX25 enclosures to create a larger enclosure system.

• Potential equalization: The rear panel, roof and gland plates are conductively connected to the frame and prepared for additional earthing straps.

A: Choose the 800 mm depth when the installation requires extra room for deep components, cable-bending radii, rear cable routing, cooling equipment or maintenance access. Before ordering, compare the required internal depth with the complete installed depth of the components, wiring ducts, terminals and door-mounted equipment.

Q2: How can I check whether my equipment will fit on the mounting plate?

A: The mounting plate measures 699 x 1896 mm. Check the total component footprint as well as the space required for wiring ducts, terminals, cable bends, ventilation paths and service access. The 800 mm enclosure depth increases front-to-rear installation space, but it does not increase the mounting plate width or height.

Q3: What must be added before VX 8808000 can be used as a standalone enclosure?

A: Side panels are not included and must be ordered separately to close the open sides. Select panels for a 2000 mm high and 800 mm deep VX enclosure.
