AX Base/Plinth Elements, Lateral
The Rittal AX lateral base/plinth elements form the side sections of the AX base/plinth system. They are installed in the depth direction and are used to stabilize the base/plinth.
When configuring an AX base/plinth, the front and rear panels are selected according to enclosure width, while the lateral elements on this page are selected according to enclosure depth. The front/rear and lateral components should correspond to the same base/plinth height and system generation.
Installed at the front and rear of the AX base/plinth. Select these components according to the enclosure width.
Installed along the enclosure depth and used to stabilize the base/plinth. Select according to the enclosure depth.
Match the front/rear and lateral components by the required 100 mm or 200 mm base/plinth height and use components from the same system generation.
For this product family, selection is based on two dimensions: the required base/plinth height and the AX enclosure depth.

Step 1 — Check enclosure width
Use the AX enclosure width to select the corresponding AX front and rear base/plinth panels.
Step 2 — Check enclosure depth
Use the AX enclosure depth to select the corresponding AX lateral base/plinth elements.
Step 3 — Choose the base/plinth height
Select the corresponding 100 mm or 200 mm versions for the front/rear and lateral components.
Step 4 — Check the system generation
Do not combine first-generation and second-generation base/plinth components.
Example enclosure: AX, 800 mm wide × 400 mm deep
Required base/plinth height: 100 mm
Front & rear panels: AX 2830081 — selected from according to the 800 mm enclosure width.
Lateral elements: AX 2830410 — selected from according to the 400 mm enclosure depth.
Selection rule: enclosure width determines the front/rear panel; enclosure depth determines the lateral element. Both selections use the same 100 mm base/plinth height.
