Using the Vertical Mounting Space

KX 1547000 is suited to layouts arranged in stacked horizontal rows, such as terminal groups above compact relays or control modules. The taller format can help separate connection functions while retaining a narrow wall footprint, but the completed assembly must still fit the shallow enclosure profile.

1. Plan each equipment level. Divide the 175 × 385 mm mounting panel into rail, wiring-duct and service-clearance zones.
2. Check shallow components first. Verify the installed height of terminals, relay bases and connectors against the 80 mm enclosure depth.
3. Route conductors vertically. Allow clear paths between equipment rows and avoid placing cable entries where they interfere with the lowest devices.
4. Confirm heat and access. Review component losses, spacing and maintenance access before finalizing the stacked arrangement.

Machining a Tall, Shallow Enclosure

Machining drawings for KX 1547000 should identify the vertical datum, the centerline of every door opening and the distance between stacked components.
