Planning the 120 mm Enclosure Depth

KX 1548000 suits compact assemblies that need more front-to-back clearance than an 80 mm-deep enclosure can provide. The 120 mm depth can accommodate deeper device bodies and more controlled conductor routing, but the 150 mm enclosure width limits the space available for side-by-side components.

1. Use the mounting width carefully. Divide the 125 × 285 mm mounting panel between the support rail, wiring duct and terminal clearance.
2. Check the complete installed depth. Include device bodies, terminals, conductors and required clearance to the inside of the closed door.
3. Coordinate cable entry. Position glands or cut-outs so incoming cables do not consume the limited side-to-side mounting area.
4. Review heat and service access. Confirm component losses, spacing and tool access before fixing the final arrangement.

Machining a Compact 120 mm-Deep Enclosure

Machining drawings for KX 1548000 should show the enclosure orientation, the centerline of each door opening and the relationship between cable entries and the 125 × 285 mm mounting panel. Because the housing is only 150 mm wide, check edge distance and spacing between adjacent cut-outs. Submit hole sizes, cut-out dimensions, tolerances and orientation so SUWI Auto can review manufacturability before quotation.
