Rittal KX 1550000 E-Box, Carbon Steel
Rittal KX 1550000 is a 200 × 400 × 120 mm carbon steel E-Box for vertically arranged terminal blocks, relays and compact control components. The standard supply includes the housing with door, a 175 × 385 mm mounting panel, cam lock and 180° hinge.
It is 40 mm deeper than KX 1547000 and 200 mm taller than KX 1549000, making it the option for layouts that need more depth and vertical mounting space without increasing enclosure width.

If the available installation area cannot accept a 200 × 400 × 120 mm enclosure, or the layout requires a different width, height or depth, compare the dimensions of other KX E-Box models before confirming the article number.

Items to Confirm or Order Separately
The 385 mm mounting-panel height provides a long vertical layout area, but the final arrangement still depends on component dimensions, wiring paths and maintenance clearance. Check the complete assembly rather than selecting the enclosure from its external height alone.
The published Rittal fit conditions provide three relevant checks for this model: SZ 1590010 covers KX carbon steel enclosures, SZ 2315000 covers KX enclosures that are 200 mm wide, and SZ 2565100 is listed for the M6 connection points on KX doors, enclosures and mounting panels. These items are optional and are not part of the official KX 1550000 standard supply. Add them only when the required mounting and grounding arrangement has been confirmed.

Prepare the component and cable-entry layout before defining holes or cut-outs. The machining drawing should state the enclosure orientation, reference edges, center coordinates, opening dimensions and tolerances. Check every proposed opening against the current Rittal dimensional drawing and the actual internal arrangement.
For a machining review, provide: KX 1550000, quantity, an approved marked-up drawing or CAD file, all opening sizes and locations, tolerances, cable-entry direction and any items that affect the cut-out positions. Do not release machining from the external product dimensions alone.
