Check Component Fit Before Ordering

KX 1552000 provides a 175 × 285 mm mounting plate within a housing that is 80 mm deep externally. Lay out the equipment and wiring at actual size before ordering, especially when several terminal or relay rows share the same cable-entry area.

1. Draw the complete layout. Place every device, terminal and wire route within the 175 × 285 mm mounting area.
2. Check installed depth. Include mounting hardware, terminal projection, conductor bend radius and clearance to the closed door.
3. Reserve cable-entry space. Make sure glands or cut-outs do not occupy the space required by the internal equipment.
4. Check the required height. Use a shorter model for a simple layout, or move to a taller KX enclosure if the rows become crowded or difficult to service.

Machining the 200 × 300 mm Housing

Set the enclosure orientation before locating pushbuttons, cable entries or other openings. Check each position against the 175 × 285 mm mounting plate, the equipment behind the door and the current Rittal dimensional drawing. The machining drawing should show reference edges, center coordinates, dimensions and tolerances.

For review, provide: KX 1552000, quantity, an approved drawing or CAD file, opening sizes and positions, tolerances and cable-entry direction. Confirm the final drawing before machining because the external 200 × 300 × 80 mm dimensions do not define usable internal clearance.
