Rittal KX 1554000 is a 200 × 300 × 120 mm carbon steel E-Box for control and connection assemblies that need both vertical mounting space and additional enclosure depth. Its 175 × 285 mm mounting plate provides room for several rows of terminals, relays or compact control devices, while the 120 mm depth gives deeper components and wiring more clearance than the 80 mm-deep KX 1552000.
This size is useful when the available wall width is limited to a relatively narrow enclosure but the layout can be arranged vertically. When choosing between KX 1554000 and a shallower model of the same width and height, component depth and the space required for wiring are the main points to check.

KX 1554000 and KX 1552000 have the same 200 × 300 mm enclosure format and 175 × 285 mm mounting plate. The main difference is depth: KX 1554000 is 120 mm deep, compared with 80 mm for KX 1552000.
The additional depth is useful when components project farther from the mounting plate or when terminals and conductors need more room for connection and routing. Check the complete installed depth, including mounting hardware, wiring and clearance to the closed door.
If the layout fits comfortably within an 80 mm-deep enclosure, compare KX 1552000 before ordering. If the 175 × 285 mm mounting plate itself is too crowded, a wider or taller KX E-Box is the more relevant option.
