Rittal KX 1574000 E-Box, Carbon Steel
The Rittal KX 1574000 is a 200 × 300 × 155 mm carbon steel E-Box for compact electrical control and connection installations. The KX 1574000 maintains a compact 200 × 300 mm wall footprint while its 155 mm enclosure depth provides additional internal space for installations that require more clearance than a shallower enclosure can provide.

| Product description | KX E-Box, WHD: 200x300x155 mm, sheet steel, with mounting plate, with door |
KX 1574000 and KX 1554000 share the same 200 × 300 mm enclosure width and height and the same 175 × 285 mm mounting plate. The key difference is depth: KX 1574000 increases the external depth from 120 mm to 155 mm, providing additional clearance in front of the mounting plate without increasing the equipment layout area.
Base the choice on the complete installed assembly rather than the component body alone. Include mounting hardware, terminals, connectors, conductor bend space and clearance to the closed door. If the assembly fits within the shallower KX 1554000, the additional depth may not be necessary. If the 175 mm mounting width is the limitation instead, KX 1575000 is the more relevant comparison because it increases mounting width while retaining the 300 mm enclosure height and 155 mm depth.

For other accessory categories or another enclosure size, return to the KX E-Box series page.
Set the enclosure orientation and cable-entry direction before locating openings. The 200 × 300 mm face leaves limited space around door-mounted devices, while openings in the top, bottom or sides must be checked against the 175 × 285 mm mounting plate, component projection and wiring bends inside the 155 mm-deep housing. Check door openings against the lock and hinge positions shown in the current Rittal dimensional drawing. Show reference edges, center coordinates, dimensions and tolerances on the machining drawing.
For review, provide: KX 1574000, quantity, an approved drawing or CAD file, opening sizes and positions, tolerances and cable-entry direction. Confirm the final drawing before machining because the external 200 × 300 × 155 mm dimensions do not define usable internal clearance.
