VX Base/Plinth Side Trim Panels, 100 mm, Stainless Steel
Rittal VX stainless steel side trim panels are used to close the sides of first-generation VX base/plinth assemblies. They provide a clean side closure and can contribute to base/plinth stabilization in individual and bayed enclosure installations.
All models are 100 mm high. Select the article number according to enclosure depth.
Stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304) for stainless steel enclosure and base/plinth applications.
Closes the base/plinth along the enclosure depth and completes the side of the base assembly.
One 100 mm panel level is used for a 100 mm base/plinth; two levels can be used for a 200 mm configuration.

Use with compatible first-generation VX base/plinth assemblies. The side panel depth must match the enclosure depth.
Q: Do I need VX side trim panels on both sides of the base/plinth?
A: For a standard standalone base/plinth, side trim panels are used to close the open sides. In bayed configurations, the required arrangement may differ depending on how the adjacent base/plinth units are connected.
Q: How are the side trim panels used with a 200 mm-high base/plinth?
A: Two 100 mm-high side trim panels can be installed one above the other. This allows the same depth-matched side panel series to be used when building a 200 mm-high base/plinth.
Q: Are these panels interchangeable with second-generation VX base/plinth side panels?
A: No. PRO85707 belongs to the first-generation VX base/plinth system. First- and second-generation base/plinth components should not be mixed, even when their nominal dimensions appear similar.
Q: What should I check when replacing an existing VX side trim panel?
A: Check the existing base/plinth generation, enclosure depth and stainless steel material requirement before ordering. Do not select a replacement based on dimensions alone, because visually similar VX base/plinth components may belong to different system generations.
